Firefly Nature Escape is a private Daintree Rainforest holiday house set on 2.15 hectares at the base of Thornton Peak. Elevated to capture cooling breezes and rainforest views, the property provides a peaceful and private retreat surrounded by nature. The architect-designed pole home is open plan, with enclosed bathroom amenities for comfort and privacy. Glass skylights bring natural light into the space, while tri-fold doors open onto a generous wrap-around deck, doubling your living area. The house features a queen-size bed and single bed, accommodating a maximum of 3 guests.
As an off-grid property located in the Daintree Rainforest Firefly operates with a focus on sustainability, rain water is collected and our electricity is solar. Please refer to our Terms page for more information regarding your stay. Guests travelling from Cairns or Port Douglas will need to cross the Daintree River via ferry, which operates daily from 6am to midnight.
